Just to lay this to rest. Joe Kernan has landed safe and sound in Spain for his break, oblivious to all of this nonsense that has been spouted today. He is hale and hearty, and this was obviously a stupid rumour.

I'd like to apologise to any of Joe's family and friends that saw this here, and got a fright. I hope this serves a purpose for people in future. Real people read these boards, they are not some abstract figures on television.

So, once more for effect. Joe Kernan is grand, and enjoying a break in Spain. End of story.
