Man city is being taken over by some Abu Dabie company. Is this true?

Would always have a soft spot for Man City as when I was a young lad, flirted with supporting them.  Now I support teams that are perpetual underdogs.  This year will be Hull City (I suppose it will also mirror a great album by the Housemartins London 0 Hull 4).  Last year Sunderland.

Are buying Taxin's shares.  Doing the due dilligence at the moment.  Will they pass the fit and propers test that Taxin must have passed?!?

Appartly they have £30 million to spend.  Wouldn't if be funny if they bought Berbatov from under Man United noses!

That's the latest. They've made a £30m bid for Berbatov.

There's an old saying "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is". That keeps popping into my head every time I read or see something related to this Abu Dhabi United group (Is that acronym ABU? :D). The figurehead seems to be a right looper, and just makes amazing statements about money available, and targetted players, at every turn.

Could this be the biggest false dawn since Msr. Houllier won 5 trophies in a calendar year with Liverpool?

I thought Abu Daiby was an Arsenal player..... ;D
