Any Violin/Fiddle Players On Here?

Hello again, well I've been playing the fiddle now for a bit, picking up a bit of a tune. the only problem is i dont get enough practice, mainly due to living in a shared house, no-one wants to listen to someone trying to play the fiddle and Im not mean enough to subject anyone to my playing.

So I was told of some clips you can put on the bridge which can lower the volume significantly, this would be very useful, any idea what they're called? I couldnt find anything on google.

I think you are looking for a mute thejuice, its just a small circular rubber disc and the top slips over the bridge.  You can get electric violins quite cheaply on ebay that you can just plug headphones into...I got one there a few years ago cus I was moving to college and didn't think the roommates would want to hear me playing all the time!!  I think it was only like £70 or something.
