Give me the alternatives smcafee. You're sounding like the DUP of old, NO NO NO! and nothing to put in it's place.

Ziggy have some sense, you'll not get a serious answer off this WUM.

maybe spin fein will see truth and end helping enforce british rule in ireland with the dup.

if spin fein call themselves republicans they will not want to work with people that want them shot.lets see it.

could you please stop referring to them as "spin fein" its getting very boring, and is a poor form of dissident propaganda. as regards sharing power with the dup, sure isnt it all a means to an end ;)
what should i call them?

sell outs?

nu stoops?

you could stop getting on like an ejit and just call them sinn fein. its not as if your going to convince anyone of your views by calling them spin fein so all its going to do is bug people, why bother?

As boring as refering to the sdlp as the stoops?

I don't know what you lads think but all I can see unfolding is history repeating itself - some great Republican ( I think it was Pearse ) said that Ireland unfree shall never be at peace - and it looks as if he was right.

There will probably always be a violent resistance to British rule.

All Ian Junior is trying to do, is to stir the pot again and goad the "dissidents" into further violence so that he can turn round and say, " I told you so !"

Who are these dissidents? Why the hell can't they join the rest of society and try peaceful coexistence and persuasion? Or are their lives empty without murder and terror?

Paisley Jr., as usual, could do with a bit of coaching in PR, but maybe a lot of his constituency agrees with him. The embracing of lethal force as a punishment seems to be a characteristic of fundamentalists both sides of the Atlantic - a lot of them don't tend to worry too much about due process or mistakes.

According to PSNI figures, there is only 80-100 across the North.

Who the f**k do they think they are, trying to hold the rest of us to random? >:(

Awh ziggy. "Held to ransom" what are you on today. The lad's and lassie's are still committed to gettin the Brits out by whatever means. You are typical of your generation, you know no different and you think this is peace, I can assure you this place is not at peace, it may seem like it on the outside but we are no further forward than 20 years ago. The only difference is the bombs & bullets have stopped for now but there is alot of sneaky dealings going on and it not going end pretty
