It is of no concern of mine's or anyone else why SoN decided to leave the Tyrone. Retired due to injuries or problems with Mickey Harte, none of ours business. The GAA is not a professional sporting body, it's players are not being paid. They do it for the love of the game and nothing more. We should ask no more of them.

Is Steven O'Neill still playing club football and if so how is he playing ?

loughshore lad

He is still playing club football, dont know how he is performing at all to be honest as our club are in a higher division and I have not seen him play lately.

The reality is the man has been dogged by injury since 2005, regardless of exactly why he quit (and he did appear on UTV to say it was due to recurrent injury) anyone who thinks he could automatically come back to the level he was at in 2005 needs their head examined!
