What? What's wrong with the wee kiddies having a kick-about?

They're shite.

God love them though, they'll have a wee memory that they can treasure before the harsh reality of life kicks in.

At Celtic Park last year they had wains from a local school on at half-time in a Derry v Louth league game, the announcer said "three cheers for the children, this is a day they'll remember for the rest of their lives."  It was a feckin 5-minute kickabout with their mates in their home town on a shit day in a decrepit ground in front of a crowd of a few hundred with no-one even watching!  Although one wee lad as he was walking off was clapping the crowd the whole way, must've been watching too much of the soccer badge-kissing brigade!

Clean toilets would suffice for half time. The game is adequate entertainment - most people are happy to use half time to run to the loo and read the programme.

If you were any use you'd be playing.

Not a big fan of those kiddies games, you're spot on HS. Also, the fermanagh teams seem to be a lot smaller than the others, and always get stuffed - It makes it harder to delude myself that from now on we'll be good. I'd love to see a fight go up in one though.
At Omagh on sat there was a much better demonstration I thought - it wasn't a match, just a loada kids doing drills. Looked a lot better than the games, cos everyone seemed to know what they were at. Think they were all St Endas ones.

The GAA should bring in the Cubed Hurling and a version of Cubed Football at halftime for the big games, setup a Glass Cube at each end of the field and select teams of the dirtiest junior players from the competing counties and let them loose for 15 mins.

Always thought the GAA could promote handball better as part of the big days out in Croke Park too, maybe a mobile version of Cubed Handball, sure its in a cube already just made it all glass only that the players cant see out.

Careful where you tread HS. I know where you live.

What about the wee man from Kerry's idea about parading women from the crowd around the field in a lovely frock competition. Or rump. Anything. As long as the women are walking around.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Jesus, that's the old woman who chased me about RuĂ© in Omagh several months ago!  :o
