Can someone point me to a website or something where I can get the exact definition  for the following betting terms...


  • Coupled bet
  • Slow count
  • Over/under ring

My defintions -
Coupled is one price for two horses - they will always have the same trainer, it's  very common in France and USA, not here.
Slow count?? I assume that's the boxing terminology? - happens when the count doesn't begin immediately - as it should.
Over ring/ under ring - the only time I've heard that mentioned is when someone rings too much into a till, ie. you ring in five pints when the punter only receives four - the till will be showing "2.50 or whatever too much at end of night and vice versa for under rings.

Slow count is a con, was just looking an official definition, but its basically when someone tries to con a cashier

Over ring is putting too much for a bet thus leaving till short
