I thought it might be a good idea to log specific examples of these. We are all well aware of the enormous hikes if fuel, food etc but has anyone any other examples.

For example in 2002 you could phone through a death threat to any taig who might be appointed captain of the North of Ireland soccer team for just 20p. Now such an evil act would set you back 40p, an increase of 100%. Any other examples?

And if you were to buy a cream bun now compared to the first year Rangers won in their historic 9 in a row, it would be a lot dearer.

I usta be able to get a grope around the back of the church bell tower for 50p in 1988.

Now I have to mop the floor, hoover the landing, cut the grass, weed, bark the garden, get the messages, put the childer to bed, wash the dishes, mop the floor again, put up a shelf, take it down again as it doesn't go, put up another one, fix the aeriel, bandage myself when I fall off, clean the shed, clean it again as it wasn't done right, iron, iron the same clothes again, give up ironing as I don't need to get rid of some crinkles as that's the way the blouse is, make tae, too strong, make it again, too milky just make coffee, too strong, too much sugar, get a plate for the biscuit.

And then all I get is a bun.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.
