I have been an I.T Profession for 13 years, when going for an I.T post you are asked I.T questions, no one gives a flying f**k how you would deal with conflict in the workplace or how many times you go to the cinema a week, they want you to sort their network/comms/database/security or whatever the post is.

Depends on who you work for in fairness, if you're working for a large American multi national they will in all probability have a set list of 'behavioural' type questions that are asked at every interview worldwide - standard procedure. A lot of smaller firms will mimic this because if the multi nationals are at it, then it must be good. It is a load of old bollocks but no point going into an interview unprepared as there is nothing worse than getting one of these questions unexpectedly.
