Aerlik cant wait til the start but my Eagles have an uphill task after losing Cousins and Judd. Big task for the dynamo Kerr to lead the team which i have no doubt he will do! Cats will be hard to stop again this yr and will be interesting to see the impact Judd has at the blues

Yep, looking forward to seeing if Judd can have an impact at Carlton. Will be interesting to see if the Cats miss Ablett this season, very strange to see him giving the game up like his Dad

See in last weeks Gaelic Life, Clarke is the best endurance runner at the club and also holds the record for the 20metre sprint, not bad going!

how popular are the eagles in australia and have they anyone to replace cousins and judd for the season ahead?

See in last weeks Gaelic Life, Clarke is the best endurance runner at the club and also holds the record for the 20metre sprint, not bad going!

That IS some going !!!!! He must be a serious athlete.

The Junkies (

) are a Perth-based team and NO, Fremantle are NOT a Perth team, they are a FREMANTLE team which plays in Perth. They (Eagles) were the first team in the state of Western Australia joining the league in 1988 (?) and winning the Premiership in both 1992 and 1994 (and haven't the fans been keen to remind the rest of us). Full of arrogant pricks, thinking they are THE team for the the state. Hugely supported throughout the whole of WA with little or no support in the NT, SA, Tasmania, NSW and QLD and definitely miniscule support in Victoria. But then Bitter Victoria is their name.

Port Adelaide and Freo as nearby large towns to Adelaide (yawn) and Perth live pretty much in the "shadows" when it comes to local exposure.

Brisbane Lions are very popular in Qld as the state's only team, likewise the Swans in NSW.

I let the Vic-based lads comment on the rest of the teams.

There's talk of Cousins being stripped of his Brownlow medal and premiership due to his junkie past. And Wayne "King" Carey is in the shit both in Oz and the US about misconduct with his girlfriend (who is effing gorgeous). What a tool.

The very one - was knocking off hid best mates wife - can't remember the other guys name but it was a huge tabloid thing in Oz and he was forced to move to aanother taem and all that. He is now in trouble with the law after a 'domestic' at home in Port Melborne and before that on holidays in Miami he assulted ( allegedly) 2 cops when they woke him in his own bed after some complaint from his girl ftiend' Aparently following the iincident in Port Melborne a small amouny of white powder is being examined!
