After 4 games unbeaten Derry looked to be at long last turning the screw on their customary lack of consistency at this time of the year but after last nights display against Down - the previous victories against Armagh, St. Mary's and Fermanagh (2) respectively have been put in perspective. Congratulations to Down who were the fitter, more skillful and hungrier team in casement park, however i can't help but wonder how often we as Derry supporters are going to go to matches and watch the oakleaf county look like a gather up who neither have a game plan nor the attitude to be playin in these games!!! It happened last year against Westmeath in Celtic, against Monaghan in casement and Donegal the yr before in clones to name but a few!!! As players they might not be gettin paid, but we're payin to watch it!!!!!
