I think late 90's and only for 1 or 2 years. Did a bit of digging and can't find any proof but I'm really sure he did.

Absolutely not.

I'm 100% sure he never played adult football for Syls - if you have information to the contrary, post it..

Relax the kacks. Just cos you shout doesnt mean it didn't happen. If I find anything you'll be the first to know.

Heffo - I did a bit of looking through old programmes, books etc and am now beginning to doubt myself. I cannot understand why I was so sure. It was something I was convinced of. If it didn't happen then my sincerest apologies.

Late 90's he was definitely Na Fianna.

INDIANA

just to end the ambuiguity.
sherlock played for na fianna until 18mths ago when he transferred to plunketts
he never at any stage has ever played for any other clubs. fact.

Sorry so folks I must have been wrong about the Sylvesters thing. Where the hell did I get that out of.

INDIANA

easy mistake to make magpie considering the merry go round transfer system we have in the county, another problem for dublin football constantly ignored by the authorities.

No harm, no foul.

I've no interest in the top level of Dublin club football.

The top Dublin clubs are more like soccer clubs in their clamour for success than GAA clubs.

The parish, the community, these things mean nothing to these clubs once they have a chance of gold.

Must be very frustrating to be a young player near the fringe of the first team at these clubs when they are more likely to go out and import an intercounty player than to give their own a chance.

Some very hollow championships been won in Dublin in recent years.

Dont think there's such a thing as a 'hollow' county championship. Try telling Bernard Brogan that, after getting 10 points last night, because Evans was fb it would have been a hollow victory.

Brave call by the umpire for KC's second goal btw.

I would say importing people from all areas to play them ahead of your own young lads who came up through the ranks just to win some gold would lead to a hollow championship.
This has been done several times in recent years.

Several Dublin clubs have sold their souls to win the county championship in recent times.
