Michael Lynn Solicitor anyone see him?

I see that Michael lynn from my own home town didn't turn up in court yesterday to answer questions regarding alleged loans of €80 million to banks . What i can't for the life understand is how the banks were so relaxed when giving loans for €5 million on properties just on a solicitors undertaking, i can't belief they didn't do any searches themselves. if i want a mortgage they want to know what i had for breakfast I'd say heads are going to roll before this is all over

Neither the Law Society nor the Courts thought of asking him to surrender his Passport. Heads roll, you must be joking, this is Ireland man

I doubt if the law society would have the authority to take someone's passport.

As tit was the Law Society who took the case too court, they were in a position to request that the Court make surrender of Passport a condition of Bail release. That they failed to do so is mystifying

He is from Mayo, did anyone really expect him to show up on the big day?

(That was painful but I had to do it before another countyman got there first)

If he was found abroad could he be extradited even though he hasn't been charged with anything yet?
