Started a new job 2 months ago and since then have received 3 of these scam e-mails to my new work e-mail account!!

As said earlier, there are actually some greedy idiots out there that will fall for these scams!

These boys are quality by the way.

THE MIGHTY QUINN

Interesting thread this one. For a man who never seemed to be short of ideas when responding to those who dared oppose him on this Discussion Board, Snowed appeared to get very tongue tied when trying to deal with this Iraqui Bird's correspondence.

Sky Blue

What? I don't understand Mighty Quinn.

I think thats a highly unfair statement.
There are plenty of people who I wouldn't call greedy idiots who have fallen for such scams. Sister in law was close to getting nailed by a scam which came through a fake mortgage company who told her that because she was such a great customer, she had qualified for a 20000$ rebate. Shes no more greedy than the rest of us, she works two jobs and has three kids. The money and the story was very appealing to her, and she handed over her details. Thankfully she ran it past us and was able to get into the bank and change her account details before her money was stolen.
The people who become the prey on these type of things are very often gullible, naive and vulnerable, I dont believe that is the same as being a greedy idiot.

If someone offered you something for free would you turn it down if it was real, and not a scam?

Zapatista

I think it's completely genuine and if you are not going to take this great business offer at least offer it to the highest bidder on the board.

I will give you 10 cent.

I have a friend here who received one of these, he went along with it just to Fcuk with them
sure enough they did send him a cheque for $2999 which he was to put into his account then
write a cheque to pay the tax of his winnings, he didn't send anything but the $2999 never did
bounce and he never heard from them again ??? The bank did investigate it and it was a scam but yet
the cheque didn't bounce.
