The Blegard

Did nobody else like Madegascar or like me you wernt to sure how to spell it. I thought it was great. I brought 2 four year olds to see it in the cinema and thought what have I let myself in for but they loved it. Managed to get 6 months peace at home when I got it on DVD
Ceol,Dole agus Ol

Flushed away was quite funny, theres always a few bit part characters that make these movies.
The frogs in flushed away, the italians in cars, donkey from shrek, etc etc.

From the oldies I loved captain caveman but unfortunately have grown up to somewhat resemble him!  :o

The Jungle Book

its out on official (thats not provisional ;D) dvd this week - friday i think

hong kong phooey rocks - the no 1 superguy

Main Street

For a 3 year old kid ? nothing more stressfull than Postman Pat, Thomas the Tank engine or  Wind in the Willows.

Any of the old Disney films, nothing even with todays technology matches the grace of movement of the characters.
Dumbo was our favourite.

How come the sleazy characters in Disney are Black, from the crows in Dumbo to the Hyenas in the Lion King?

Never noticed before Main Street, but you're right. Reminds me of a scene from Chasing Amy. Must see if I can find it on YouTube tomorrow and post it.

Anyone remember the ewalks (sp). Wee boyo's that lived in trees. Think they were based on the boys from star wars!!

And what about Gummybears!!

Main Street

Ewoks i think, a favourite of my boy, heroic without the need for violence or fear. Gets into the imagination of boys, especially that bit where one of the Ewoks is waving his sword charging forward, Celt style, screaming "Gandar" at something 10 times his size.

lynchbhoy

1. The smurfs and the magic flute
2. Walt Disneys robin hood
3. Walt disneys sword in the stone
4. The Jungle book
5. Shrek
..........

Puckoon

Did anyone enjoy woody woodpecker when they were kids? I remember watching them, but I dont think its that great now when I see a re-run.
