I was wonder what some of you guys from Belfast thought about people driving their southern reg cars to Belfast. I wanna head upto the Leinster v Ulster game on friday but not sure if to drive up or get the bus thats going. i would rather drive myself but i was up there last year and Ravenhill seems to be in a protestant part of the city as Big Ians church is beside it and a few of us also got lost and a few of the locals sent us totally the wrong way.

So will my car be alrite if i park it around the ground, i've been up north loads of times and have never had hastle but not sure on this one for some reason.

if you are worried about parking near the ground and don't mind a 10-15 minute walk, you can park across the bridge on the lower ormeau and walk to Ravenhiil. personally i wouldn't think you would be too bad parking near the ground, it is in a fairly posh (for want of a better word) area and you should get no hassle.

Next door to Big Ian's place of worship lives the legend Joe Brolly - why not rap the door and ask him if you can park - he has the gaelic goals up and a large ball catcher you cant miss it - the free presbyterian fraternity must be mad that he done this but Joe being Joe is very controversial as usual!! Fair play to him!

Ask yer man on the door can you leave it outside the front door for an hour.

no problems round that way, there will be hundreds of cars about round there, the cars will be parked right up the Ravenhill road no proper cars parks about and avoid the smaller streets

A friend of mine owns a house in a paticular area of Belfast and he said there was no way i could park my Irish reg car anywhere near his estate so i had to leave it in an area about 20 mins away..I thought he was joking untill he brought me into the estate and i then understood why   :o
