Paul McCartney - The Frog Chorus
Run DMC - Christmas in Hollis

Honourable mention to De Burgh for Spaceman came travelling, smashing tune to join in with in the shopping centre and embarrass the kids. Dishonourable mention to Springsteen for Santa Claus is coming to town, what was he thinking.

He wasn't. That  was brutal

The Jackson 5 version is  ear-piercingly  brutal as well .

Springsteen's version is brilliant! Even if it owes a heavy debt to Phil Spector.

Speaking of whom...

Darlene Love's "Christmas, Baby Please Come Home" is always a highlight each year

I'd throw in Nat King Cole's "Oh Holy Night" (and his "The Christmas Song" goes without saying).

Wizzard's "I wish it could be Christmas every day" never gets old.
I'm just not a Springsteen fan , so  most stuff  he does  is brutal to me

hard not to like classics like

Brenda Lee - rockin  around the Xmas tree
Bobby Helms - jingle bell rock
Chuck berry - run run rudolph
ronettes - sleigh ride

quit yo jibbajabba

Anyone's old folks fire on the Jim Reeves Xmas album back in day?

Some memories there tbh

Senor Santa Claus. And the rest 🤓

Truthsayer

Also a fan of Santa Claus... Springsteen - tho anything he touches turns to gold.
Drummer Boy ... Bing Crosby & Bowie a classic

Underrated: 2 Become 1 by the Spice Girls. Always reminds me of Christmas, and I always liked it. I'm not ashamed of this.

Stay Another Day by East 17. Couldn't bate it.

In the classics, I'm fond of Merry Xmas Everybody by Slade, Winter's Tale by David Essex, and Stop the Cavalry by Jona Lewie.

I'm still shouting for the SPICE girls to go on Austin's List. That's a cracking tune.

Heard Shaky yesterday. Jesus, it's hard not to like  that one, cheesy or not

Got me thinking , was  Shaky the inventor of the Christmas jumper?
