looking for some help here, my old man is looking at buying one of these cars in England. They seem to be Good value .Just wondering does any one know anything about them or do they give bother? any help appreciated

I know a bloke who's on his second S-Type, and has only good things to say about it.

I was in the second one about a year ago, when it was brand new, and its a beautiful and comfortable car. The only negative I noticed was that the boot was smaller than I'd expect, very shallow.

Thanks for that 5times , he is looking at at 2.5 petrol sport with manual transmission, he was told that the Automatics can give bother any truth in that? When is the new Jag out ? Will this mean a reductuion on prices for 2nd hand Jags when it is introduced ? Also does that Jag have a timing chain or belt i assume it is a chain? excuse all the questions 5times
