THURSDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER - EMPIRE MUSIC HALL, BELFAST
SWANEE RIVER
SOUNDSTONE

Doors open 9PM, Tax £4.00

And now follows a public service rock announcement:

SWANEE RIVER
Swanee River is a powerful blend of soul, blues and rock and roll. Hailing from the city of Derry, they began in September 2004 and drew their influences from a range of bands including Free, Led Zeppelin, Spencer Davis Group, Rory Gallagher, Humble Pie and Terry Reid. Currently promoting their EP "Baby Better Lady" the band are a firm favourite on the live circuit.

SOUNDSTONE
Soundstone present their eagerly anticipated debut EP, Scratchin' At My Door. It has been highly welcomed not only throughout the ranks of their devout following, but the established rock scene as a whole with Neil Calderwoods production at Manor Park Studios. One thing is for sure, Soundstone have all the qualities & attributes to go far, and with such infectious foot tapping sounds it quite frankly leaves you wanting...more.

CAPTAIN KENNEDY
Lurganian...Lurganite...Lurgan based Captain Kennedy serve up a blend of bluesy, harmony filled, semi-acoustic rock and roll. In 2006, the band established their position on the Northern Ireland music scene with a number of impressive gigs in high profile venues across the country, with the highlight being a support slot for "the Waiting Room" at a sold-out Mandela Hall. Doctor Kennedy, how cool is that? Miss them at your peril.

MANTIC
"Psyedelically induced Prog-Funk Grooves". Says it all really. These Derry troubadours are one of the most interesting bands you'll ever see, so get down early and check them out. Unlike anything I've ever seen. Descriptions do them no justice, but expect funky drumming, Zappa-esque guitar work, and mind boggling vocals. Can you tell I like them?
