Hi all,

i have a question i was hoping i could get an answer for as im not 2 familiar with all of the clubs in dublin...basically i used to play football and also hurling to a junior level until around the age of 13/14 in Galway  but havent played since but have always wanted to get back in 2 it...so basically im about 13 years without touching a sliotar or a football.

i am looking to joiin a club in Dublin just to train and get back into the game in both hurling and football. i currently work near clontarf and this matters as i work till 8.30 mon-fri so if i was to join a club i need to find out what time they train at.

I am aware of some of the clubs near clontarf such as st.vincents and also a few others but i have checked thier websites on clubgaa.ie and cant seem to find their training times.

I know i could just go and email a heap of clubs but just off-hand could anybody give me an idea of training times for certain clubs within the northside of dublin and also southside as i live in Rathmines so either way i am committed in getting back in 2 it.

all help is appreciated.

Cheers :)

Jesus - it's not exactly that close to Rathmines either

Ranelagh Gaels would be a good option. Think they train in Rathmines or Bushy Park, made up mostly of country lads like yourself living in Dublin and looking for a game of ball. Think they only play footbal though, sound bunch of lads! Most Dublin clubs would train at 7.30/8pm by the way!

There was a post from someone in Portabello saying that they were looking for players.  They train/pllay just off Leinster road in Rathmines.  Don't if the are strong in hurlng?
