This is a slightly less loaded version of Gnevins poll.

I see Gnevins poll is a direct trap to vote towards his viewpoint because of voting before thinking what he is really asking.

In my opionion would have been no harm perhaps having the game on a Saturday in Portlaoise, then there woul have been no clash with Ulster Football or Munster Huriling.

Fishead what's fair play in your opinion, fair play to whom or what?

This is not a dig at the Dubs (famous last words) but in a case of a replay rather than have the game going against the Cork V Waterford game (very important to showcase a premier hurling game) & against Tyrone & Donegal (surely Ulster deserves its day in the Sun, Leinster had its a fortnight ago), surely yes I know it would mean a huge capacity drop but if they cared so much about people watching it on tv it could have been played in Portlaoise today. I know that example is probably not the best, but sometimes you have to look at whats fair on other counties, maybe (esp.) in the qualifiers Dublin should have to travel to neutral venues, rather than the game automatcially played in Croker just to maximise crowds. A perfect example is when Donegal where almost bullied into giving up home venue so as to maximise crowds when playing Armagh. Another case is when the Dublin board tryed to force Wicklow & Louth out of Croker, thats not on, in cases like this Crowd maximisation is not always the best option. But it is the preferable one most of the time, even letting the Dubs have its clear advantage in 60-70% of cases not the current practice of 95-99% of cases. Dublin are not the only team where this arises but most often is.

I can see what your saying Fishead_Sam but two points, dublin never tried to force anyone out of Croker and on the idea of playing a game that could get 120k(according to the LC) in a smaller venue is just crazy. Whats the point of having Croker if you are not going to play the games that will fill it somewhere else.

I can see what you say the this replay is taking the limelight but thats just the way it is, but on a good point from that situation it has the whole country talking about GAA for the last two weeks.
Grand Slam Saturday!

How is my poll loaded ?
You don't like the results so your claiming it's loaded?
I wouldn't of minded a Saturday game but in Croke Park not Portlaoise
Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

Would it have been viable to have the game on Saturday with a 4pm throw in?

I heard  a rumour their was being worked being carried out on the pitch which if true is the only reason it couldn't of been on Saturday

Between the work on the pitch and the fact that Brian Farrell's suspension ended at midnight on Sat stopped the game being on the Sunday..
