'97 was the one that got away for us.

Kildare and Meath were the 2 best teams in the country that year even if Kildare were badly short a dangerous inside forward line. I wouldn't put that Kildare team of 97-00 in the bracket of great teams never to win an AI due to their lack of serious scoring power. Can't ever see 150,000+ coming to see the 2 teams play again for a Leinster semi final.

Mayo 96 team should have won the all ireland especially the 1st day. Better than the current team. Best forward on the current side is Andy Moran and he is 33/34.
