What time do bands generally come on stage in SSE/Odyssey

Going to see Status Quo on Friday and my young fella is coming from Dublin to meet me. He's working so he'll be tight for time. Anyone know roughly what time bands usually go on stage in the SSE? Doors say 6:30, but that's no indication of when they'll come on. I don't want him going off the road en route
