Soccer, booze etc.Ironically the club has super facilities now etc, when they were contesting county semi finals in the 80s they had neither a club room nor their own pitch.

Apathy, that is the real problem and not just for TNN. I even see it in our own club. The is a greater sense of apathy among many young lads. Take it or leave it. They all have more disposable money than previous generations and they can do what they like so bugger football.

Nail on the head BC, I no longer live in Portadown and take a team in a rural area and the difference in the attitude of the boys is unbelievable. I think you saw my wee team win a county championship recently against a town team.

I certainly did Harold. Always had a wee liking for the Noose. It was great to see the unbridled joy that evening.

I see Cross struggled to beat Harps by a mere 3 points today.Hard to fathom how they managed a 31 point victory over TNN.

A North Armagh team, probably Maghery will be in the final.Let's all hope the Magherymen dethrone Crossmaglen and win their first ever title. It would be great for North Armagh and indeed all of Armagh.

Great win for Maghery last night, first senior final appearance for the fly men since 1993,an occasion I recall as my late brother was involved in an official capacity as team doctor for Maghery's opponents that day,but was contacted by a Maghery player late on the eve of the game, and being ever the professional, sorted him out and as a result he was able to play!

What a boost for Armagh football in general and North Armagh in particular if Maghery were to win their first ever Senior title

Do the Armagh champions get a free tour of Croke park or something?

Tony, a few simple questions for you.
Are you a paid up member of Tir Na N'Og Portadown club?
How many of their games this year did you attend in person including the recent championship games.?
