Ulster GAA in crisis,football and hurling

Five out of six Munster teams have now reached the AIQF stage in the last five years, or 83%. In the same period, seven out of nine Ulster teams have reached the QF, or 77%.

This is confusing cause and effect. As Munster teams often enter the qualifiers at a later stage, you'd expect more of them to reach the AIQF stage.

Four enter at Round 2, the same as all the other provinces. The only difference is that less enter in Round 1.
