According to google she was born in Carlow, left when she was 3 and reared in Dublin and New York. I think we can cut her a bit of slack.

Watched this last night.

Not sure why Saoirse Ronan got a best actress nomination for this. I mean she was alright but the character didnt really lend itself to a great acting performance.

Film was alright... was more interested in the period props than anything else, herself loved it tho. What's the deal with Enniscorthy with the golf and rugby tho? no hurling?
