I was taught by the eminent Fr Faul.  A genius of languages, history and literature.

The Fr Faul who stood up for prisoners against brutality and at school bullied and brutalised children on his famous 'yellow bed'?
You need challenged on this. Don't understand what u are saying or alluding too. I think you are wrong here. Most kids found fr faul as an empathetic disciplinarian but one where the pupils even the bad bastids had an affection for. He didn't have a rep for brutalising anyone.

I can introduce you to many would remember otherwise back in the 60/70s... I stand over that and not something I not would say lightly about a person who is deceased but when he is being glorified... He was challenged about it later though.

Thank God that era is over... not this priest personally - but the whole concept. Had the misfortune to go through education system run by the Catholic clergy... brutality and shame.

Thankfully that was not the case for the Vincentians at St Patrick's College in Armagh.

Niff niff not teach you Rufus.
