$0.99 6 days ago, the pricks here have cyclical pricing and f**k the price of a barrel.
According to the radio today the last time there was oil at this price per barrel the cost at the pump aws 60-70 cent/litre.

It is pretty pointless comparing the price of oil in dollars and the price of fuel in some other currency without information about the exchange rate.

Fair enough, but people often refer to the price of a barrel of oil being the same when they mean that the barrel is the same in USD, which oil is priced in, rather than the currency they are using for the petrol.

In New Jersey today 1 us gallon (3.6litres) is $1.79

Thats the same as €0.45  a litre

$1.90 a gallon last week when I filled up, I'm sure it's even less this week.

Thats the same as €0.45  a litre
