All fans boo and jeer but the Dubs are definitely the worst. The most disgusting act came in the 2011 semi when they booed a Donegal player who was down injured and required medical attention.

Was that when Marty Boyle faked injury to get Dermot Connolly sent off?

No it wasn't that incident, and receiving punches to the neck and face is hardly faking injury.

Hear hear the juice!!! Worst Gaelic Football season in a long time. Would love to know the ratio of championship games to competitive games. I naively watched Monaghan v Dublin yesterday in the hope of finally seeing a good game. I don't watch Gaelic, it is horrible. Compare it to the excitement of a hurling game!!!!

Looking forward to seeing Kilkenny in the hurling final.  Who'd have predicted that   :)

But it is destroying a unique atmosphere that neutrals even savoured though not all would admit to that.

If you refer to all that cheering, chanting, booing and jeering coming from the Dubs on the Hill (and elsewhere), then no, I can't say I've ever enjoyed that atmosphere. I enjoy games in Croke Park much better when Dublin aren't involved.
Spot on. Dubs are the only supporters who boo free takers & cheer oppostion wides ::
Whenever anyone else is taking frees you get thomond park like silence out of respect for the kicker and should he miss a polite round of applause for putting in a jolly good effort.

Yes we are the worse. We are really bad at the booing thing. Though I do remember cheers when Alan Brogan limped off injured in the AI semi final . I remember hearing racist chants aimed at J. Sherlock at a championship game. I remember hearing the borrowed National front racist chant  of 'I'd rather be a Paki than a Dub' in a pub before a Leinster semi final. All good banter though. Dubs are definitley the worse.

That particular chant is synonymous with Dublin fans on the Hill, albeit with different wording obviously, i.e. 'Royal'.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

It can hardly be synonymous. I didn't hear it on the hill but have heard it both in the pub and on the way to the stadium. Never heard it in the stadium itself.

This is my problem. Some on here seem to be going to lengths to highlight any shite that comes from a section of fans who go to watch Dublin (not to be confused with Dublin fans as I like to consider my own crowd who attend matches).  To say 'Dubs fans are worse' is being selective and based on nothing really. Folk are choosing what they want to hear and what they want to see. Dublin fans boo more than other counties and all that crap. Tis a joke to be honest.

There is no doubt that the Dubs boo more than other counties. I don't think that a joke.

Dublin fans don't really boo very much these days, preferring polite applause as if one was at an opera performance. I'd prefer to hear more a lot more booing as that was the kind of atmosphere that attracted me to Hill 16 as a feral 14 year old. I miss the slight whiff of danger that came with going to Hill 16 back in the day.

How can you measure such things? May seem that way cos of the large crowd and the high focus. Plenty of booing against Dublin on Saturday. Was it louder than the Dublin boos? Can't really say for sure but it is a fairly stupid argument. Would like to add also that most Dub fans did not boo anything on Saturday. Not that it'll matter to anyone who wants to pursue this nonsense.

Here we go again, do not refute the argument or provide a supported counter view but just characterise it as "stupid" or "ridiculous".

I am talking about the suject of 'who boos the most ' as a stupid almost irrelevant topic to discuss.

Taking this you judge with your ears logic. You must've then heard Dublin players get booed on Saturday. The argument is that is was not as bad as Dublin fans booing?
