Anyone know how far the train station is from the pitch and directions please, cant remember when I was last out at a match in Ballyhaunis it is yonks. How long will it take to get there, half thinking of catching of hoping on train to Ballyhaunis to catch second half of Mayo V Leitrim Minor league after work, get to Ballyhaunis @ 8 miss 30 minutes, am I just wasting my time for one half, esp. if its a long walk.

I'm trying to remember where the train station in Ballyhaunis is, but I think it's the opposite side of town to the pitch.
And the pitch is a good walk outside the town. If you're only arriving in Ballyhaunis at half-time, you'd only just be arriving at the pitch to see them walk into the dressing room I reckon.
I'm not sure the name of the road it's on, but if you were coming into the centre of town from Claremorris, you turn left and head out that way I think!

the station is at the end of the town on the castlerea road. The pitch is out the knock road. I would say a 20min walk.
Statistics are like a bikini. What they reveal is suggestive, but what they conceal is vital.

Thats decided then, no point travelling have way across the county and back for 10 minutes Connacht Minor League action. Must learn to drive, it kills me when I want to go to a game if I got no lift. Thank God Im sorted for the Senior League, Championship & some club games.
