Just noticed someone mentioned Joe Mc Mahon on the all star thread.  Could he be the best player never to have won an all star?
Who else fits that bill? Aidan O Se?    Paul Mc Grane?

Christy Ring
Tommy Murphy - which gives him the double as he already is reckoned to be the best player not to win an All-Ireland medal.

I think it's safe enough to assume players who played before All-Stars existed shouldn't be part of a discussion on who the best player not to earn one is.

Likewise I hugely question that Murphy is 'already is reckoned to be the best player not to win an All-Ireland medal'. Declan Browne, Dermot Earley and dozens more legendary players are just as worthy as Murphy.

Do you actually get a certificate? I thought you just got the big heavy fecking Bronze yoke.

Very, very poor attempt at sarcasm in that case.

Yes, almost as bad as your ability to detect sarcasm.
