Thus rumour the mongers! Remember who first broke the rumour if it does come to pass! ;D

In much bigger news, Birmingham City are to play Shamrock Rovers on July 8th. 8)

Thread could have been put on Celtic or Liverpool thread, another useless thread :o
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Dilemma in deciding which thread to include it in.Besides a one off event deserves a thread of it's own

Bingo

Hardly breaking news, anyone on a Liverpool or Celtic forum would known about it about a month ago. I'd say its actually mentioned on the Liverpool thread.

Tickets on sale 9am Wednesday morning on ticket master for those interested.

Is it in the Aviva?

Assume it will be Liverpool reserves/youth? I was gonna go to the match v Crusaders at Ravenhill last year but couldn't get tickets and when I saw the lineup I didn't feel so bad!

Bingo

It's in the Aviva.

Full squad expected as its celtics full squad, they've the weekend booked off from the SPL that weekend as it has a full round of fixtures, like in last few years they've been given it off.

When it's the reserves it's billed as such by LFC, the host club will normally build it up as Liverpool and not mention anything else.

Would expect a full stadium for this.  How soon do you reckon you'd want to be booking tickets Bingo?

They expecting a sell out or close to it based on how infrequent Liverpool play here plus a large travelling scouse crowd expected as it be only European jolly they'll get  :( Lots planning it on forums already.

I'd get them early to get a good seat and avoid top tiers. I'll be booking mine before Wednesday anyway, will look to take the wee lad to his first game, so will look for decent seats.

You booking through a club before Wed? Wouldn't mind getting tickets for this but with the number of Celtic and Liverpool fans in the 32 I would be shocked if it wasn't a sellout.

Bingo

Tony I'd say the clubs will some from the club and Liverpool will sell them directly as well. I'll likely go down the ticket master route as I know someone with a franchise for it and he should sort good tickets.

It will be close to sell out but they'll be plenty of tickets about, just a matter of where you want to sit or quality of seats, not many bad seats in it mind.

Bingo

Neil Lennon in Dublin today to offically announce details for this. He at the Aviva now doing the promo shots for the terribly bill match "The Dublin Decider"  ::)
