whats happening..

1. coyle told gerry his gascan ruckus cd was in the basement and locked him there so he could take over the show

2. the undertones emaciated cobweb covered body lies where he died of boredom sometime ago

3. janet left at the start of the week to join a tibetan monestary as coyles wittering had left her addicted to perscription painkillers

4. the bbc now know of the seige situation and have isolated the station hence no changeover with nolan a few police officer text and phone the studio pretending to be listners.

5. in a cruel twist of fate john toal was at radio foyle when coyle siezed control. he and coyle have dressed up as riddler and two faces and do andersons show now sending out mungo gerry and lazy mary over the airwaves and pretending to do requests.. torturing gerry as he languishes in the basement dreaming of kate bush, whiteys on the moon, and dan eggs.

time is ticking away for anderson as coyle strangles the life outof his show sending andersons listners to wooden head pat kenny and cavan man jf ;)

Mungo Jerry! Remember 1973 at the Arcadia Ballroom in Bundoran. I was deemed by the ticket seller (cloakroom tickets!) in the kiosk to be too young to be admitted (Health and Safety isn't just a modern day phenomenon!), but as I trudged away in disappointment I spotted the lead singer, Ray Dorsett, scrambling down a grassy bank to the back door of the ballroom. My mother explained to him how disappointed we were, that they wouldn't let us in due to age, he immediately had a word in a few shells and as a result the whole family (parents, brother and me) were brought in via the stage and parked in the middle of the swaying masses! True story!

Also, current pop star/drug dealer Tulisa is the daughter of the piano player in Mungo Jerry. Bet none of you knew that!

I bet you don't know what was on the flip side of  'In the Summertime''.
No cheating!

AQMP,I think you're right! Started with A anyhow! 40 years ago, hard to believe.Without checking I'd hazard a guess and say Baby Jump was the flip side of In the Summertime, though Mungo Jerry's best song IMHO was Lady Rose.

Dorset appeared in the Identity Parade on Never Mind the Buzzcocks not so long ago.Sideburns have gone, but still has a dark curly mop and looks not unlike Fred West!
