we should be sixth. we might even be seventh.

some teams are almost as good as they're going to get though, others far from it. be interesting to see how good these ratings are come august and september. bookmarking it for the crack.

Don't be silly! Donegal are top 3 at least! There are only two counties they will fear come summer! Nobody can put Kildare 4th (not just yet), not even their most enthusiastic supporters.

I think we fear more than 2. We all know that you have to treat each game seriously or you will likely get what you deserve. I think it's really open this year. When the championship gets underway, it'll be interesting to see if the league form, or lack of current form either, transfers to the championship.

What I do think is that when it gets to the championship, it means more because of it's importance and you get those situations were a side, any side, doesn't perform as good as they can under that pressure. it happened to the dubs last year, and you could argue that we succumbed to it in the final, although mayo def had a lot to do with that too. It can happen to any side, that tentativeness caused by anxiety in players. Maybe not all the players at the same time, but enough to make a difference and enough to make a coach change tactics and be less aggressive about taking the game to the other team and trying to limit poor outcomes that emotionally driven behaviour has. This can happen to any team. At the moment, the dubs are walking around with their chests stuck out, which they deserve, as they're the pick of the bunch now. Everyone else knows it too. When we get off the path and back onto the hard road and get going again at that higher level the whole psychology of the thing changes and that's a really interesting thing to see. I love seeing teams develop that swagger. Just hope we have it again this year!

I'd have to agree. Its like paying any heed to Ewan Mc Kenna.

Limerick are 15th. They escaped from Ruislip with a 1 point win last week. We are 25th. We go to Ruislip in 5 or 6 weeks time in the championship.

I know the rankings are a joke but I'm worried.

As bad as Armagh are there still better than the 5 teams above them
On what basis do you make that claim? Two of the teams are above you in Division 2

League form doesn't win All-Irelands. Man for man Armagh are without a doubt ahead of monaghan, galway wexford etc
Without a doubt? I doubt it.
