While the gramadach might not be good, its brilliant to see anything like that which might make Irish more popular

I came late to it, but really enjoyed the show - I know that part of Connemara well (sure that's where I met Mrs Boots).  Fair play to Bishop, I reckon he'll have done more to raise interest in the language than 30 years worth of Ministers for Education (or Gaeltacht).  I really enjoyed where he asked that f*ckin a*se Hanafin whether promoting Irish gave her a pain in her hole.

Quotemastering the Donegal Irish

Did ye see the bit where he said listening to Donegal Irish was like chewing tinfoil?  ;D

Love his version of jump around, "Liem theart" had me in stitches, i downloaded it the other day. Love the bit, "Leim anois, leim anois, leim anois go lua", haven't heard that rhyme since I was about 5 or 6.

"Agus fuair an **** sin sios an bothar cead pleeeaaaaaaaanaaaaalaaaaaaaaaa."

ye thought that was hilarious also the bit where he was going to build a wall around his mobile home, i have seen it done

I was very much taken by the title of this thread.

Just a question here.  Listening to TG4 coverage of Dublin Kildare game.  Can the goal be referred to as "an bád"?

Yep. That's a goal in West Kerry.
