Got our first UPC bill there today - there was €60 worth of activation charges on it, more than 50% of the bill. Never previously any mention of them.

Anyone know anything about it?

they've a few funny charges, but having been in an area they didn't service I was glad to get back to them.  Overall they're good value and reliable.

Great new app for UPC called Horizon,it's a bit like SkY Go.
Watch some of the channels you subscribe to from UPC on your phone. You can watch RTE,TV3,BBC,ITV etc etc live.
Not all channels are available but hopefully they will add more in time.
You can also record shows onto your UPC box direct from your phone and there is a small selection of TV Series Box sets also available to watch on your phone.
