Just watched this on TG4. It is on BBC 2 NI on Sunday night.
A bit of an insight into the Harte family, one that is remarkably stoic in the light of the tragedy.

Worth watching or catching on the players.

I have more respect for a man
that says what he means and
means what he says...

I watched it also. Very touching and personal insight into what both the Harte and McAreavey families have had to go through.

Her brother Mark who I know very little about, is a truly amazing man, have the utmost respect for him since watching the programme. Everyone who spoke on the programme had nothing but kindness and love for Michaela, I am sure she is very proud of all of them.

I recommend for anyone who missed it to see it when next aired.

I see its on Sunday night at 22.00 on BBC2 so I must record that
Is it as gaeilge?

In January 2011, Michaela McAreavey was killed while on honeymoon in Mauritius. In this documentary filmed over the course of a year, her brother Mark Harte speaks about life without her, the eight difficult weeks he endured in Mauritius attending the trial of the men accused of her murder, and his family's commitment to protecting Michaela's legacy, General Education/Science/Factual Topics

Don't have TG4 since the DSO. Thanks for letting me know it's on BBC 2 this weekend, as the internet speed is too slow for the player.

QuoteIs it as gaeilge?

Yes. The likes of Lynette Fay was involved in producing it.
But many of the interviews are in English, e.g. Mickey Harte.

Recorded it last night but not sure if/when I'll have the stomach to watch it. God rest her soul.

Watched it last night and couldn't help feeling for Mickey and his wife.
I too have 3 sons and 1 daughter and I just couldn't imagine how I'd feel if something happened her even though she's still only three.

Well done Mark for doing the programme and speaking so well. Her legacy looks like it will live on for a long time but you'd have to wonder will John her husband ever be able to move on.

Do they have to have another trial or can they just leave it now if they wish. It must be a hard decision for them at this stage. As Mickey said there are no winners from all of this.

Hard programme to watch, to see the hurt and the pain the Harte and McAvreavey families went through and are still going through. Amazes me how they can find the strength to keep a strong faith in the Lord's plan and how they could take something so tragic and get a positive out of it. Never ceases to amaze me.

Is it not time now to let the families get on with their lives? No disrespect intended whatsoever but just seems to be constantly being brought up in the news etc
