Any hedgehog experts about?

There was a hedgehog camping out on my doorstep and I think I stood on it, probably not completely but anyway, what do I do with it?
It might be ran over and splattered across the street tomorrow.

P.S. Dunno who to recommend if your hedgehog is Irish rather than British. Then again, he/she probably won't mind...
