That looks like a seriously impressive performance by Dublin.   Kildare were regarded (wrongly it would appear) as having a useful team.  Interesting that Dublin named a "dummy" team and last year's minors and dual players Eric Lowndes and Cormac Costello both started and played very well.  Looks like a good Minor Championship this year with a lot of football to be played between now and September.  Wonder will the bookies move Dublin in to favourites instead of Tipperary or will it be Tyrone after next Sunday.

I think the answer to that question is clear, providing Dublin don't lose to Meath there's only one team that'll be favourites come the quarters. It says absolutely nothing about the teams' relative values, though. Plenty of handy teams around the country this year. Pity that Galway are out after one game whereas Kerry will have to lose three championship games for their interest to be ended.
