Is there such a beast exist?  i.e. a system that combines a radio, CD player and mp3 player that I could add mp3 files to.  It would be powered like the old sound systems and not a docking station as most appear to be.

Currently using an old laptop which is telling me that there isn't enough Virtual memory so I can't add more mp3 files.  Seems such a waste to buy a new laptop just to store mp3 files.  Would it be better buy new memory and if so what should I ask for/get?  Wouldn't be that computer savvy.

If I have to go the docking station route, are there mp3 devices with good capacity out there e.g. 128, 256GB (I'm assuming capacity goes up in powers of 2).

Thanks in advance.

You'll get a decent hard-drive cheap nowadays - if you computer has decent speakers (or buy some), then that's probably the best option, I'd have thought.

Have got an external hard drive and backed up all my mp3 files to it.

How do I make these mp3 files stored on this external drive a Library on Windows Media player so that it plays these files rather than the files on the C drive?  Then could I delete them from my computer's hard drive and so hopefully free up space and speed the computer up.

Thanks in advance.
