He as on the radio this morning saying he was hoping to get a lift on the Norn Iron plane out of there. Good result for the butchers, bakers and candelstick makers.

For the record I have the height of respect for Kerr and he shuda been given another campaign instead of bringing in Stan, but shur that's all water under the bridge now. I think he still could contribute to the FAI cause but not while Delaney is in charge.

He did indeed get a lift back, saved him quite a bit of hassle and about a ten hour journey by the sounds of it.

I'd be very surprised if there were many of them from outside Antrim & Down, excluding the English lads that is.

Very glad Brian Kerr is no longer involved with Irish teams if as he said in interview early he was making it very difficult for certain players to play for their country simply because of where they were born
