Well Remembered Days: Eoin O'Ceallaigh's Memoirs of a Twentieth-century Irish Catholic—Arthur Mathews
Might be out of print but absolutely hilarious.  Pulls the pish out of Angela's Ashes and other misery Oirish style literature
I enjoyed that book, very funny.

Surprised no one has mentioned Spike Milligan's Puckoon yet!

Some more worth reading are Incompetence by Rob Grant and the Lucifer Box trilogy by Mark Gatiss (the Vesuvius Club, The Devil in Amber & Black Butterfly).

Is that the same fella did the Red Dwarf books?

One of the funniest books I've ever read. I remember my old man giving me a copy that was falling apart at the seams when I was younger and my sides were split with laughter.

EDIT: One of the funnier books I think I have read is "Sick Puppy" by Carl Hiassen. Funny stuff.
