Some counties have it that only players from Non- senior clubs can represent them while I know Cavan use the criteria that if a player hasn't played with the Senior team in the championship the previous season then he is eligible. Hence Mickey Lyng and Ray Cullivan playing last week for instance.

Think that all counties bar a few can in essence use their "B" county team in the championship. Dublin and I think Cork and Kerry can use only lads that haven't played Senior club championship ther previous year.

Funnily enough I am almost sure that in those counties that you can play in the senior club relegation championship and yet still be eligible the following year.

I thought there was no Ulster junior c'ship - do Cavan play in another province?

In Mayo you can't have played senior club championship the previous year or senior intercounty. Mayo and Sligo (current All Ireland champions) are in the Connacht Final on Friday evening.

We are in Leinster and are playing Kilkenny in the semi final next wednesday 8/6/11.

Usually I'd be supporting Kilkenny, hopng their footballers would have a day in the sun.  Maybe next year.
