It was actually the University Times that put both the names of the schools and the name of two of the lads in the article. The Herald picked the story up, kept the school names but didnt print the lads's names.

True. It didn't so much pick up the story as copy it word for word. The University Times was formed after I left. Previously there had been the Trinity News and the University Record. One was by College Publications, the other was from the SU. Both were pieces of s**t.

Not sure if the Times is a merger of the two or a rebranding of one.

University Times is just the rebranded University Record (Student Union Publication). Better standard than its predecessor but that's not saying much.
