have not voted in 20 years

Think thats kind of sad.
How can you ever hope to change anything if you don't even vote!!

they are only puppets in the 6 counties, all looking to get on the gravy train!

yep, name me one thing that they done for me in the last ten years on the hill

See, that's the problem right there.

So, you vote to try and put someone else on the hill.

If you dont vote, you forfeit your right too complain about the quality of representation you get

I just thought that I would bump this old thread.  There has been a lot of talk about how the the election results might influence voters ahead of the Assembly election, with a lot of people hoping for a bounce one way or another.

Well then do something about it.  Are you registered to vote?  Is your friend that has just come home from Australia/University registered?  How about your brother/sister/friend that has recently moved house?  Encourage your friends to get registered.

If you are not sure if you are registered then go to

http://www.eoni.org.uk/ or phone 0800 4320 712.  It's simple!

How do ye think that you can improve or change anything by not voting!?
If you don't 'like' any of the candidates, vote for the 'least worst' of them, or stand yourself or find someone you think would do a good job, and encourage them to stand.

Ok, last chance, the deadline to register is 14th April.

It's a very simple process, just visit www.eoni.org.uk or even better phone 0800 4320 712.

A lot of good folk dedicated their lives to get you a vote, not using it is an insult
I never forget a face but in your case I will make an exception.
