Here in oz the prices are rounded up to the nearest 5c, e.g. if something cost 2.19, it really costs 2.20!

Yeah but only because they call you back to take it! and your receipt, heaven forbid you get away without your receipt.


One year we were going to Aintree and in the train station they'd a huge queue but there was a few going around the crowd selling tickets to people who had the exact change. I forget how much it was but day it was £4.90, I offered a fiver and said I didn't want change but she wouldn't give me the ticket, said I'd have to wait in line and get the change!!!
