Is this game in Clones?

Kerry Team
Diarmuid Murphy
Marc Ó Sé
Tom O'Sullivan
Padraig Reidy
Tomás Ó Sé
Aidan O'Mahony
Killian Young
Darragh Ó Sé
Tommy Griffin
Daniel Bohane
Eamonn Fitzmaurice
Bryan Sheehan (Capt)
Declan Quill
Kieran Donaghy
Mike Frank Russell

A couple of changes from the Cork game, Brendan Guiney is sick and is replaced by Padraig Reidy with Killian Young moving to wing back. Donaghy moves from Midfield to Full forward and his clash with Barry Owens will be interesting, if Owens plays. Tommy Griffin moves to midfield in his place.

Daniel Bohane gets his first Kerry start at number 10 with Bryan Sheehan moving from Full Forward to No 12 and replacing Donnacha Walsh.

Will be an interesting game for Kerry just hoping they continue to show the improvements they have shown in the Cork game.

Pat O'Shea has a busy weekend, off to Nenagh with Dr Crokes for their replay on Saturday with Moorefield, I am sure there will be a few Crossmaglen heads lurking around this game.
Then on Sunday he dons his Kerry tracksuit for the game with Fermanagh.

Anys news from Fermanagh?

Mike - do you know much about Daniel Bohane.
Kerry Gaa website is some loss the way they used email out the team and subs was fantastic.

Kerry Mike

I know nothing about him really only he was the 31st man standing in the pre-All Ireland photo last year, that was the first I saw or heard of him, thought it was a strange move at the time.

He was playing well for the Stacks in club games last year but have not heard of his current form, but he must be producing in training to warrant an inclusion this weekend.

Maybe I've missed something and I obviously did but why have Fermanagh got to play their home games away from home? Is there development going on in Brewster Paark? What about Irvinestown??

Major development work being carried out in Brewster park, new pitch, stand and floodlights. Irvinstown & Lisnaskea were deemed inadequate for NFL games so the team have to play their 'home' games in Cavan or Clones.

ExiledGael

Fermanagh have named almost the same team to face Kerry as was beaten by Limerick in Clones last week.
We were woeful last week and I don't think we will be that bad two games in a row, 2004 captain Shane McDermott back into half-back line, should add a considerable amount of strength, something that is badly needed.
Owens v Donaghy battle should be worth watching!
Think Fermanagh could raise a few eyebrows here, we did well against Tyrone without getting the scores and Mulgrew will have given them hell after last week.
Seen Kerry in Scotstwon against Monaghan last year, very laboured and over confident, but their class did see them through with a late score from Cooper. Could be something similar this week. O'Shea will have a lot on his mind so I'd take Fermanagh to go close.

Is this Bohane?

Kerry Mike

Thats him, broke a finger during the warm up yesterday so still waiting to see him in a Kerry jersey. Donnacha Walsh took his place and by accounts played well, so Bohane may have missed his opportunity.

Good result for us without Brosnan and Cooper and a further 2 points to push us up the table. Donaghy got a straight red for a kick at someone and will now probably sit out the next 2 games, he has a rash streak in him (probably the Tyrone Blood) that needs to be tamed, that his 4th sending off now in just a year.

Ronan O'Flaherta also got a red card after going on a fouling spree after being introduced as a sub, in 12 minutes he was ticked, yellowed and off. Tut tut.

Fermanagh goalie also got a straight red for lamping Mike Frank Russell, MFR getting the only goal earlier in the game.

We are very dependant again this league on Bryan Sheehan's frees. Tomas O'Se went off with a bad hamstring strain and will be out as well for a few weeks.

We are in second place without really playing too well, and with games away to Donegal and Dublin and home games against Tyrone and Limerick to come we have 4 tough games left if we are to progress. Anyway a win playing badly is always welcome.

Well done to Crokes too on reaching the AI club final, hopefully they can pull it off against Crossmaglen on Paddy's Day. But win or lose they are not the best team in Kerry  ;)

If he had a kick at someone it should be 3 months suspension.

Kerry Mike

Will depend on the referees report, dont know the exact nature of the Donaghy offense but heard a kick mentioned in one media report and a slap in another. Will be a big blow to us if he gets a hefty suspension, but so be it if he deserves it.
