Guns N' Roses bottled off stage

Posted Thu 2 Sep 2010 10:17 BST by Ben Arnold in Pop Gossip

Guns N' Roses were bottled off stage in Dublin last night after yet more issues with Axl Rose's timekeeping.

The beleaguered rock band hit the stage more than an hour late at the The O2, much to the chagrin of their expectant fans.

Beginning the set with 'Welcome To The Jungle', they stopped shortly into the track after bottles bombarded the stage.

Addressing the angry crowd, Rose said: "Alright, here's the deal: one more bottle, we go home. It's up to you.

"We would like to stay. Do you want us to stay? We want to stay, we want to have some fun. If you don't want to have fun all you've got to do is let us know - we've got no problem - and we'll go on our way."

But after three more tracks, the band left the stage, after which a member of staff was forced to take to the microphone to calm jeering fans stressing that they were trying to get Rose to return, and pleading: "I would ask you to refrain from throwing items at him."

The band also appeared on stage an hour late last weekend at the Reading and Leeds Festivals
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.
