Can anyone out there say how badly understrength sligo will be this weekend (for betting purposes)?? going by hoganstand they will be. lies or the truth??

SLIGONIAN

The media reports about injury crisis are true, but we have good cover for j davey, j martyn, and colm mcgee. For me mcguire and mcnamaras arent good enough anymore, mullen is a loss as he would push taylor. But make no mistake Costello is the biggest loss. We cant afford too many more injuries for sure but ill be heading to ballybofey expecting a win for sure as this is a decent team.

Just for the record i wont be commenting on here regarding sligo team anymore as i know too many players, im too heavily involved in coaching and its just not worth commenting on sligo matters anymore as my anonmity is gone long ago and whilst i have made many great friends on here and elsewhere and i have made enemies to as people have called to my door or faced me up. Consider this my last sligo related post. Ill repeat this in the sligo section, i will continue to post on the general section.

Sligonian, are you now involved in the coaching setup of one of the Sligo county teams in some way or is it at club level? Best of luck with it either way.

I suppose I am both delighted and disappointed after last night's game.  Delighted that we played so well for 50 minutes and really were firing on all cylinders, some great scores were taken and midfield certainly seemed to hold their own.
Disappointed that we did not finish it off, but overall that might not be a bad thing, Sligo will want to make amends for letting this one slip so I think we can expect a good performance against Meath.
Fitness levels seem very good for early February, we tore Donegal apart a good few times and really could have scored some more goals but elected to take the point.
Overall, I think Kevin Walsh and team will be happy with this performance, I was an encouraging performance considering the number of players that were missing.
It seemed from the commentary that Francis Quinn and David Maye were pretty quiet for most of the game and I'm sure they will be working harder the next day if they want to hold on to their spots.
Well, we have a point in the bag and a good performance so all in all I think Sligo fans will be happy enough today.
I used to be indecisive but now I'm not too sure.
