Double negative, so hes saying we do need someone to tell us whats right or wrong, isn't he?

DirtyDozen12

Jesus wept in regards to this thread!!!!!!!

The threads you start ardmhachaabu are completely deplorable.  What is this about??
Beer, now there's a temporary solution!!!

Who this "Noone" chappie?

I knew a fellow from Ardagh who fixed tellys called Pat Noone. Does Paul "grumpy bastard" Weller know him? Why is his view important?

And can anyone ever imagine rifles being found in Eton.

The man's a loon

Puckoon

Never had much gra for Paul Weller. A few decent songs aside he just has never set Puck's musical world alight.

Wasn't so much the song I was on about puck, rather the idea behind the lyric that I quoted.

Personally, I think Weller was right in that the modern world we live in tells us all that we don't have any real moral code to live by.  His lyrics of course saw it as a good thing and I am not so sure that is true

Replaced John Finn in the replay of the Mayo v Dublin 1985 AI semi who got his jaw broken by Barney Rock.

Well in that case - I disagree. I think you are a product of your upbringing, life experiences and environment. Mine tells me there is a moral code to live by and I'd generally try to walk that way.

Now Aerosmith - there is a band.

I agree with you on the bit I bolded. I don't know if we have the same moral code that we live by puck, I think mine would be more religion orientated
As for Aerosmith, I  hear they still play to packed houses in the Caribbean  ;D

Any room for poetic license on the hoof?
